We are the Resistance!

We are the Resistance!

 The man hit the steel door so hard he thought it would finally open. But, it didn't.

“It's no use sire! It's harder than stone!” Said the Scientist.

 “We can not give up! We can’t, we, just, can’t.” Huffed the leader. He fell to his knees. “Your right. It is no use.” The leader was sweating an ocean. “We cannot defeat them.”

 The leader tried as hard as he could, but just could not stand up. The leader pound the ground with his fist. When he lifted his hand, the ground was cracked, and when he followed it, he remembered all his followers.

All the people that looked up to him. The people that helped him do this. He looked back at the crack. Then he realised something. He stood up.

 “Everyone! Man, Woman, Child. We may be broken. They may have taken things from us! But we are the spark! The spark that will start the fire! The fire that will burn them down! We are the Resistance!”

The crowd of people cheered, and he smashed the wall.

It tore apart like water.

Theres my story! I hope you liked it. It was really fun to write. What writing have you done?

Area of a Circle

Area of a Circle

Hello there! Welcome to Abe's Maths Show! Today, we will be doing area and area of a circle. Ok sorry, I'm not on TV. I lied. But you still get to learn something! That sounds exciting! I bet you're on the edge of your seats! Here's the area of a circle!

This is the area of a circle. Pi is 3.142. Let's say the radius is 5 metres.

It's Pi x Radius x Radius. So its 3.142 x 5m x 5m. That 78.55m3. That's area of a circle.

Finding Circumference Of A Circle

 Finding The Circumference Of A Circle

Today at maths we got a test sheet. It was quite hard, and I couldn't finish all the questions in time. Then we had to go outside to find the circumference of a circle - With our FEET! I got 12.5 footsteps, which means it is 6.5 metres.
Then I used the formula of Circumference = pi x D.     pi =3.14
C = 3.14 x 6.5 metres
=20.41m

Maths

 Maths

Today for maths I learnt about volume. We learnt that to get the Volume of a shape you need to do this;

V= l x w x h .

Then we started a problem where we had to figure out the volume of this shape, then cost for concrete then add a 30 % discount.

Tech

Today, when I got to school, I was in a rush! When I got to the bus, the door was closing! AHH! But Sharon told the driver that I had got there, so he opened the door for me to hop on. THANK YOU SHARON! When we arrived at Tech, we went to sewing, where I started on finishing my cushion. When that was done, I wen't out to have lunch, and me and my friend played 4 Square! Then we wen't to Digitech, and me and Jelani finished our game. Then the group had free time, were I looked at Scratch Undertale projects: FUN FACT! I REALLY like Undertale! Then we wen't back to school. WHAT A DAY! Thanks for reading this! I hope you liked it!
