  2. Kia ora Abe & Jasper. This is brilliant! It's really great that your whole family was invovled in making Vesuvius. Abe did you have to do some research to find some facts about Pompeii? Did you help to write the script? I really like the sound effects you've added to your animation to create impact. Great work on narrating Jasper! I'm glad Gary the cat was involved too! Elizabeth K

  4. Hi Abe and Jasper - I thought your video was amazing with good sound effects and full of interesting facts as well. You showed time passing really well and I thought the crickets chirping showed night time brilliantly. I wonder who discovered Pompeii after 1,000 years, and what they discovered? Perhaps this is the next video? I hope so.

  5. Wow that was spectacular Jasper, Dab, Mum and Abe! What a fabulous reenactment of the story of Pompeii. I really like the way you coordinated the sounds, the dust, the volcano erupting and Jasper you were an excellent narrator. I'm sure there has been lots of learning creating this project, maybe one day you will be able to visit Pompeii and see the city they have uncovered. Well done team!

  6. Wow Jasper, Abe and Family well done BIG High 5 to you all - that was brilliant you even got the colours right for the real Pompeii. Did you use ash? Tell me what did you use to make your volcano erupt it looked great.
I really really hope that you will be able to visit the real Pompeii one day and wander around the still half buried city that lies even now under the looming shadow Vesuvius...

  8. What a fantastic video, well done to everyone involved. I love the sound effects and the narration made it really interesting, good pauses and easy to understand. It must have taken a while to film everything and put it together, how long from start to finish do you think Abe?
